Job summary
A boutique firm of chartered accountants in London is seeking a qualified or part qualified accountant. The role involves planning and performing audits, preparing financial statements, and ensuring client confidentiality. Ideal candidates will have ACA or ACCA qualifications, strong communication skills, and a desire for long-term career enhancement. This position offers excellent progression opportunities in a smaller firm environment.
Qualifications
- Experience within a multi-partner practice with at least 40% audit exposure.
- Technically strong with a good knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Planning and performing audits leading a team.
- Prepare & review financial statements.
- Prepare corporation tax computations.
- Draft Management letters and reports.
- Ensure time budgets are maintained.
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional relationships.
- Supervise and assist junior staff.
- Liaise with other departments.
