A successful and well-established business in the Construction Sector, based near Thurrock in Essex, is looking to hire a Bookkeeper to join them permanently. This is a sole charge role reporting to the Directors of the company and is office-based.
- Day-to-day transactions and reconciliations using Sage Line 50
- Processing accounts payable and receivables
- Credit control
- Cash flow reporting/forecasting
- Profit and loss reporting
- Assist project managers with work in progress
- Weekly CIS returns
- Monthly payroll preparation to an outsourced payroll bureau
- Liaising with the external firm of Accountants as required
- First-rate transactional skills
- Proven long-term experience in a similar sole charge role
- Strong reconciliation skills
