Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Warehouse Technician to join a well‑established refinery in Clydach, Swansea. This 6‑month contract is ideal for candidates with warehouse or logistics experience, preferably within a high‑risk or industrial environment. The role requires flexibility with shift patterns, a strong work ethic, and an excellent commitment to safety.

Key Duties
  • Operate a forklift truck (recognised qualification desirable).
  • Handle metal powders and pellets safely.
  • Sieve and decant materials into containers.
  • Collect and deliver materials across various site areas.
  • Load wagons and support wider warehouse operations.
  • Promote and adhere to Safe Systems of Work.
Requirements
  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (essential).
  • CCNSG / National Safety Passport (required).
  • Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work and ability to champion safe working practices.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
