Job summary

A prominent logistics and procurement firm in Dudley is looking for a Warehouse Logistics & Procurement Manager. This role involves overseeing goods handling, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and negotiation skills, and have proven experience in logistics management. This position offers a full-time role with a competitive salary between £45,000 and £55,000, focusing on continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in warehouse logistics or supply chain.
  • Strong procurement stock management and supplier relationship skills.
  • Competent with ERP / MRP systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance in warehouse/logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and despatch.
  • Set, monitor, and improve KPIs for productivity, accuracy, and safety.
  • Lead, train, and develop warehouse teams for high performance.
  • Manage transport logistics and negotiate freight rates.
  • Ensure import/export compliance and documentation accuracy.
  • Maintain approved supplier list and negotiate contracts.
  • Track supplier performance and manage inventory accuracy.
