Ward Host / Domestic Assistant

Role Details

Hours: 27.5 per week

Shift: 07.(phone number removed) on 4 off

Responsibilities

• Ward Host Responsibilities:
  Collaborate with the Ward patient dining team to deliver high-quality service tailored to patients' needs and preferences.
  Coordinate meal and beverage services in line with the Ward Timing Schedule.
  Monitor dining activities to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
  Assist in preparing and presenting meals that reflect the standards of our organisation.
  Liaise with kitchen staff and other departments for timely and accurate meal delivery.


• Domestic Responsibilities:
  Keep clinical and non-clinical areas spotless through mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.
  Conduct scheduled deep cleans in isolation rooms and high-risk areas, adhering to strict infection prevention protocols.
  Utilise approved cleaning chemicals and equipment safely, applying barrier cleaning techniques and zoning principles.
  Ensure high-touch surfaces are cleaned regularly and thoroughly, using colour-coded materials to prevent cross-contamination.
