Overview

We are looking for a Ward Host to join the Healthcare team to prepare support to the Kitchen Chefs and wider Catering team in the preparation of food, load meals onto trolleys to be transported to the wards and ensure that they are delivered to the necessary wards in a timely manner.

You should be capable of working to Food Safety standards, ensure that the ward kitchens are maintained to the highest level, undertake cleaning as required and work to tight deadlines as a collaborator.

You will have a good level of communicative English and work well with numbers as well as be detail conscious and have excellent time management skills.

The ideal candidate will hold a Food Safety Level 2, have an understanding of COSHH guidelines and be able to work in an environment that can be of a high volume and change in temperatures.
