Overview

Waiting Staff – Rucola at TheConduit. Full Time, Part Time or 0 Hours contracts available. Set in the heart of Covent Garden, The Conduit serves as a home for people passionate about achieving positive social, environmental, and economic change. Rucola, from New York, will be opening in our rooftop restaurant. The ethos of The Conduit and Rucola aligns in sustainability, zero waste, carbon neutrality, and responsible sourcing from local producers. Rucola highlights farm-to-table cuisine in the heart of Brooklyn, with a seasonally changing, plant-driven menu that showcases the best produce available. You will be quality-driven with a personal interest in sustainability and zero waste, aiming to work with a light touch on the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm, engaging, well-considered, and generous service to all members and guests of Rucola and The Conduit.
  • Take an active interest in the dishes on the seasonal menus and be able to explain not only the contents of the dishes but also the background of our supplies and ethos.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs to ensure their experience is highly positive and memorable.
  • If you have knowledge or an interest in wine, assist guests with wine pairing.
  • Be open to learning about new products and their story, with a strong interest in organic and artisan foods.

  • Ability to explain menu items and our supply ethos; wine knowledge is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn about new products and the stories behind them.
