A community health organization in London seeks a Volunteer Smoking Cessation Advisor to support clients in quitting smoking. This role involves promoting the benefits of smoking cessation and engaging with the community. The ideal volunteer should be kind, open-minded, and passionate about helping others. A minimum commitment of 1-3 days per week is expected for up to one year.
CGL Bromley Drug & Alcohol Services has an integrated approach to the delivery of substance and alcohol treatment services; we work with clients over the age of 18 and provide a wide range of services and interventions as a means of supporting them in the ongoing recovery journey. Some of the things we offer include Entry Into Service assessments, Recovery groups, Aftercare Programme and non-structured wellbeing activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the CGL Bromley team. The Volunteer Smoking Cessation Advisor will be supporting the Smoking Cessation Team to engage with those who access our services, by promoting the benefits of stopping smoking. Provide stop smoking interventions to support people to quit smoking. Work with the staff and community to improve and develop and develop the service. Provide feedback and updates to those who access our services, informing them of any changes to service provision.

Applicants must be a non-smoker due to the nature of the role.
