A community support organization in Croydon seeks volunteers for the Peer Mentor team. This role is for individuals with lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery who wish to support other young people in their journey. Duties include providing one-on-one support, serving as a voice for service users, and contributing to service delivery. This is an opportunity to develop new skills while making a positive impact in the community. Training and ongoing support will be provided.

We are looking for people with previous lived experience to become part of our building recovery in communities (BRIC) - Peer Mentor team.
It’s often overwhelming for people to make changes in their lives. You can help by giving your time as a volunteer peer mentor.
There are lots of different ways you could help support other young people and our services, this can include:
You will be provided with all the skills, training and regular 1.2.1 support needed to help you carry out the role. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to be a positive role model, has a passion for supporting others and wants to make a difference.
