Overview

We are seeking an inspiring drum kit and tuned percussion teacher with a passion for excellent teaching. At the heart of our ethos is a belief that every child should appreciate and enjoy music, developing both practical and theoretical skills through their instrumental and class lessons. Role and Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will teach eight pupils for a total of four hours per week during school hours.
  • There is potential for this to grow to eight hours per week, as there is a growing demand at the school for drum kit and tuned percussion teaching.
  • Beyond solo performance, you will nurture your pupils\' musicianship by expanding their instrumental repertoire, strengthening their sight-reading skills, and encouraging participation in both ensemble and solo opportunities.
