Responsibilities

  • Piercing Excellence: Participate in comprehensive training to become a trusted guide for customers. Conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Keep It Fresh: Maintain an Insta‑worthy store with perfect displays, organized inventory, and easy‑to‑shop layouts.
  • Team Collaboration: Support your Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high‑energy vibe that customers (and coworkers) love.
  • Brand Representation: Showcase Claire's products and services, stay plugged into the latest fashion and social media trends, and use your knowledge to suggest products and boost sales.
  • Store Operations: Oversee operations with efficiency and flair—manage inventory, handle cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinate promotional activities.
  • Create Shareable Moments: Encourage customers to share their new accessories and piercings on social media, turning their Claire's haul into the next viral moment.
Requirements
  • At least one year of retail experience, ideally with leadership or sales‑driving responsibility.
  • Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
  • Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
  • Physical ability to lift 11–35 kg (25–75 lbs), bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers; ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
  • Social & digital savvy; know what's trending and how to translate that into an amazing customer experience.
  • Customer‑first mentality; love making people feel confident and empowered.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with customers, employees, and management.
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and positive attitude with willingness to learn.
  • High school completion or equivalent.
Compensation & Schedule

Contract: Permanent, 22.5 hours per week, any 3 days in 7.
