Job description

Salary: £26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Grade TUTLEC 1 - 4 depending on teaching qualifications and experience.

Permanent Contract

Hours per Week are variable (as & when required) and subject to demand.

We are seeking engaging and committed individuals to join us as casual tutors to teach arts & crafts as part of our Family Learning provision. You will be passionate about your subject, have previous and relevant industry experience and be keen to inspire our learners. This role is an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock residents with developing their skills and confidence in a subject of interest to them in their everyday life and work.

Responsibilities
  • Plan courses and lessons, create resources, teach lessons, mark learners’ work and give developmental feedback.
  • Possess level 2 qualifications in English and maths, ideally a level 3 award in Education and Training.
  • Have a qualification or experience within the subject you wish to teach.
  • Experience of teaching adults is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and maths.
  • Level 3 award in Education and Training (ideal).
  • DBS Check: Enhanced Level with Children’s Barred list required.
  • Qualification or experience in the subject to be taught.
