This is a permanent, full-time vacancy. Hours of work are 39 hours per week with a level of flexibility to meet business needs and to cover a 24/7 operation. You will also be part of a weekend on call rota (currently 1 in 4 weekends but may change subject to business needs).
We’re looking for a Transport Manager who can lead, inspire and bring out the best in our team of over 300 colleagues at Newhouse Distribution Centre. People are at the heart of everything we do, and this role is your chance to make a real impact on how it feels to work here.
You’ll guide and support our 3 Shift Managers, making sure our transport operations run safely, smoothly, and with our colleagues first always approach. As part of a wider leadership team across 10 distribution centres, collaboration and relationship-building will be key.
This is a big role with real influence. You’ll help shape our future and lead through change, so strong communication, planning, and motivation skills are a must to the success of this role.
