A growing manufacturing company based in Witham is seeking Trainee Welder Fabricators. Job description

I'm currently working with a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Witham who are looking to bring ambitious individuals into their workshop team as Trainee Welder Fabricators.

If you've recently completed a course in welding and fabrication, have some hands-on experience and you're keen to develop your career in a supportive, fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal role for you.

Location: Witham
Pay: Competitive trainee rate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Overtime: Weekdays at 1.33x Saturdays at 1.5x

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with MIG welding tasks alongside experienced fabricators

  • Learning fabrication techniques using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery

  • Building confidence in reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings

  • Gaining real-world experience in a busy production environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualification in welding or fabrication (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2+)

  • A strong interest in mechanical or hands-on engineering work

  • Previous workshop or practical experience (desirable but not essential)

  • A proactive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn
