Quack Recruitment & Training is hiring a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team across South Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and register candidates for roles across construction, warehousing, and administration.
- Learn how to build strong candidate pipelines using job boards, social media, and direct outreach.
- Support senior consultants with arranging interviews, confirming start dates, and completing compliance checks.
- Manage candidate records and keep systems updated with accurate information.
- Help maintain relationships with learners from our training programmes and assist them into work.
- Work to daily and weekly activity targets for candidate calls, interviews, and submissions.
- Handle general office tasks such as answering calls, booking appointments, and assisting with marketing.
- Shadow consultants to learn how to manage clients and job vacancies.
Requirements
- No experience required – just energy, ambition, and great communication skills.
- A genuine interest in recruitment, training, or helping people into work.
- Confident phone manner and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Basic IT knowledge (emails, Word, Excel, databases).
- Experience in customer service, sales, retail or hospitality is a bonus but not essential.
Pay
£19000 - £23000 PA
Monthly bonuses based on performance
