Are you a Quality Inspector seeking a hands-on and varied role within a supportive, growing organisation? This company is a trusted name in the automotive sector, specialising in SU, Amal, and Zenith carburettors, supplying enthusiasts, workshops, and collectors across the UK. With their continued growth, they\'re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to help uphold and improve their high manufacturing and restoration standards.

In this role, you\'ll work closely with engineers and management to ensure all products meet strict quality requirements. You\'ll be responsible for identifying and resolving quality concerns, conducting first-off inspections, and ensuring a smooth, efficient quality process. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic workshop environment while developing your technical expertise.

This role would suit a Trainee Quality Inspector or similar with a mechanical background looking for a hands on role within a market leading company.

The Role
  • Conduct inspections on restored carburettors and associated components
  • Identify and address tooling, assembly, and inventory quality concerns
  • Work closely with the Machine Shop Supervisor and Engineering Manager to provide actionable feedback
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across production processes
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
