Trade Assistant/Trainee Welding Robot Operator

United Transport Equipment is a modern state of the art fabrication facility in Welshpool, with a young, vibrant and energetic team of Tradespeople, Apprentices and T/A's. We manufacture Steel Trays and Aluminium Canopies for light vehicles. Using advanced robotic welding technology, we are able to produce large volumes in a short time period. We also have our own Amada CNC Laser cutter and CNC Press Brake onsite, as well as a fully equipped paint shop with 2 x Lowbake Ovens.

United Transport Equipment is seeking a Trades Assistant to become a Trainee Welding Robot Operator to join the team at our Welshpool site.

Overview — The role will be responsible for:

• Learn to manage the functioning of the welding robots efficiently
• Producing high quality products from our robotic and CNC machinery
• Loading and unloading machinery
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
• Maintain the Company’s equipment, tools and machinery
