Overview

Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Redditch
Pay Rate: Up to £16 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with overtime available depending on workload)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. Working with stainless steel and aluminium, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality welding to precise standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel and/or aluminium to exact specifications.
• Work from engineering drawings to produce accurate, high-quality welds.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Operate independently while contributing to the overall success of the team.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with strict quality and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with supervisors and the quality department to maintain best practices.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years\' experience in TIG welding (aluminium and/or stainless steel).
• Strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Proven track record of meeting production targets with precision.
• Experience welding to standards such as 9606-1 & 9606-2 (desirable).
• Previous background in manufacturing or fabrication (preferred).
