Overview

We are seeking a number of Battery Test Technicians to join our Electrification and Battery Testing team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct abuse and development tests on customer battery systems ranging from cell level to full pack, including battery tear down (disassembly).
  • Perform testing and tear down at the cell, module, and pack levels.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure tests are set up and executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Collect test data for reporting to the customer, informing design improvements and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain site and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Passionate about advancing electric vehicle technology with a background or interest in electronics, electrical, motor vehicle and prototype build.
  • A full UK drivers licence is required.
  • Baseline security clearance will be required.
  • Hours: 39 hours per week; standard hours 08:30–16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:30–16:00 Friday with a 30-minute lunch each day. Hours can be flexed – to be discussed at interview.
Employment Details
  • Contract: Up to 18 months
  • Pay: Up to £18 per hour (approx. £29,835 per annum) based on skills and experience (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Outside IR35: This role can be considered for Outside IR35
  • Overtime/shift: Occasional overtime or shift work may be available and would require flexibility within working hours
  • Baseline security clearance may be required
