Temporary Site Services Manager – M&E / Construction
Salary : £65–70k + Company Car / Allowance + Bonus

We are looking for an experienced Temporary Site Services Manager to lead a growing M&E business unit delivering electrical, mechanical, water, and fire protection services across multiple construction projects nationwide. This is a senior leadership role combining strategic management with hands‑on operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, and fire protection engineers, site managers, and support staff.
- Deliver temporary site services, including electrical distribution, water, fire alarm systems, testing, and commissioning.
- Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, quality, and statutory regulations.
- Manage budgets, P&L, and commercial performance of the business unit.
- Develop and implement strategic growth opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience managing M&E or temporary site services at a senior or business-unit level.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budget management £1M+.
- Electrical qualifications essential (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 17th / 18th Edition, or similar).
- Knowledge of temporary electrical systems, BS 7671, water hygiene, fire safety, and construction legislation.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites / regions.
- Excellent planning, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications / Experience
- HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management
SMSTS or JIB grading
- Experience delivering compliance services (Fire Safety, Water Testing, EICR, PAT) across multi-site projects
