Full-Time | Monday to Friday (with flexibility for out-of-hours support)

Location: South of England

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

We’re now looking for a Technical Supervisor to support our growing team working with our customer, National Gas. This is a key role ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of hard services across a varied UK‑wide portfolio, primarily covering the South of England.

What You’ll Do

As our Technical Supervisor, you will provide day‑to‑day technical oversight, ensuring compliance, quality, and consistency across sites. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of hard services and statutory compliance across the portfolio
  • Coordinating maintenance activities and supporting the management of outsourced contractors
  • Monitoring and updating the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule in line with SFG20 and manufacturers’ guidance
  • Assisting with remedial works, and technical queries
  • Reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and supporting quote validation
  • Overseeing helpdesk tasks and ensuring accurate CAFM data entry and compliance
  • Providing on‑site technical supervision to ensure H&S and statutory requirements are met
  • Acting as the Authorised Person for Electrical Works (where applicable), offering technical assurance
  • Supporting supplier performance reviews and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Contributing to future maintenance planning and site infrastructure needs
What You’ll Bring
Essential
  • 3‑5 years’ experience in Facilities Management or building services, with a focus on hard services
  • Recognised engineering qualification (electrical or mechanical)
  • Authorised Person or relevant competency in M&E disciplines
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance and PPM processes
  • Experience supervising contractors or engineering teams
  • IOSH qualification
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CAFM systems
Desirable
  • Formal project coordination or supervisory training
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (IET, CIBSE, etc.)
  • Experience supporting budget control or cost validationDemonstrated ability to support change and continuous improvement
