Remit
  • This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to join a market leader within their specialist field as the business continues to expand their reach across the UK.
  • The role will suit an accomplished technical sales professional with a proven track record in the plastics industry and experience selling to injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion manufacturers
  • The successful Technical Sales Manager will play an integral role in growing UK sales both through developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts, adopting a technical, solution based sales approach
Role
  • In the role of Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by combining technical expertise and commercial acumen
  • As Technical Sales Manager you will engage with technical & engineering personnel of customers to present technical solutions and clear value propositions
  • The successful Technical Sales Manager will lead the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to sale close and after sales support
  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities within the plastics industry
  • Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, synergy partners and distributors
  • Act as the technical point of contact during the sales process, clearly articulating the product solutions, performance and value
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and customer workshops
  • Work closely with customers to understand application requirements and recommend optimal solutions
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer meetings
Experience Requirements
