A leading Events Management firm is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee technical and LED installations at various events. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a live event AV technician and strong project management skills. This role involves planning, managing installations, and engaging in client development and networking. A competitive salary of £42,000 - £47,000 plus bonuses and benefits including private medical insurance and a contributory pension scheme is offered.
First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic Events Management business who are looking to recruit a Technical Manager on a permanent basis due to growth.
This is an important role that provides an interface between technical and commercial requirements with responsibility for the planning and on-site delivery of a variety of events to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. Ultimately, your success will be demonstrated by the creation and successful execution of seamless events.
You may currently be working as an AV project manager in live events, or, as an experienced Senior AV Technician, looking to make the next move in your career. This role requires a strong technical background, with an all-round knowledge of using audio-visual equipment, and in particular LED, in the corporate event and/or exhibition environment. You will need to demonstrate experience of working at conferences, congresses and award shows. A reasonable knowledge of virtual events and associated streaming/platforms would also be useful.

Salary: £42,000 - £47,000 + Bonuses (circa £7,000pa)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)
