Job Description:
Role Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape, including technical aspects of legacy systems, to facilitate the transition to modern target systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to identify and remove obstacles, ensuring smooth progress in projects.
- Rapidly acquire knowledge about the systems and the products they support to provide accurate and relevant insights.
- Document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for engineering activities.
- Obtain necessary approvals and sign-offs from stakeholders on documented requirements, ensuring alignment and clarity.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of systems and products to address their needs and concerns.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all project documentation and deliverables.
- Work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and deadlines without being distracted by complexity.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Experience / Competences
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in the finance sector, with a strong understanding of technical systems and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate transformation environments, particularly in modernising and migrating from legacy systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and address technical aspects of legacy systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience working with technical teams and stakeholders, facilitating effective collaboration and issue resolution.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using JIRA, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse and document business requirements and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and remove obstacles for engineers.
