What’s the role?

As a Software Engineering Technical Lead, you will join the Software Engineering team at CAVU.

• You will be responsible for the technical leadership of a team of approximately 3 Back End Engineers, 2 Front End Engineers, and 2 QA Engineers.
• You will drive a bottom-up approach to engineering, remaining around 80% hands-on technically.
• You will understand that modern applications involve selecting the right AWS services and datastores and orchestrating everything with Terraform.
• You will work closely with product owners and architects, taking full responsibility for developing and delivering a strategic technological vision and direction for the business.

About You:

Ideally, you will bring the following skills and experience:

• A proven track record as a hands-on technical leader of PHP engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience in PHP.
• AWS skills.
• Experience with microservices.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (nice to have).
