Job Introduction
Our CCTV / Control Room Team plays a vital role in maintaining community safety, protecting council assets, and supporting frontline staff. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, the team monitors a wide network of public space CCTV cameras, alarm systems, lone worker safety devices, and emergency alerts across the district. Working closely with the police, emergency services, and internal council departments, the team helps prevent crime and anti-social behaviour, coordinates rapid responses to incidents, and provides crucial evidence to support investigations and enforcement actions.
This is a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment where attention to detail, professionalism, and a strong sense of public duty are essential. As part of a dedicated and skilled team, you'll be at the centre of efforts to keep our residents, staff, and public spaces safe.
We are looking for a CCTV/Control Room Team Leader to join our CCTV team. You'll play a crucial role in managing a 24/7 control room operation, supporting public safety through effective CCTV monitoring, lone worker systems, emergency alarms, and incident response coordination.
