  • Leading a team of experienced Support Workers and ensuring that support is delivered appropriately and professionally.
  • Compiling a rota to meet the needs of the service.
  • Ensuring staff are trained adequately, and are confident and competent in their role.
  • Submitting and monitoring timesheets to ensure all are paid in a timely manner.
  • Supervising others and providing regular support to the staff team.
  • Overseeing two services located within a five minute walk of one another with access to multiple public transport routes.
Job description
Overview

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage two of our mental health services in the Northenden area. The role involves working flexibly to support and enable people with mental health needs and physical health problems to live full lives in their local community, while monitoring and maintaining their health and well-being. You will be at the centre of achieving the best possible outcomes for our Tenants and being part of a dynamic, effective team across our two services.

You will develop professional relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and with the family members of the people you support. You will be a positive role model to the people you supervise and ensure they provide a high standard of care and support, while ensuring opportunities for training and development are supplied. You will be responsible for monitoring individual support to ensure it is delivered in a person-centred manner.
