Electrical Team Leader

Location: Grangemouth

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

The Company: Our client is a leading facilities management and building services provider, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across complex industrial and commercial sites throughout the UK.

They are seeking an experienced Electrical Team Leader to oversee a team of five engineers on a large, high‑profile industrial site in Grangemouth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer or supervisor to take a leadership role within a professional, safety‑focused environment.

The Role

The Electrical Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a team of engineers carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and minor project works.

You’ll ensure all electrical maintenance activities are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with site standards, providing day‑to‑day leadership, technical guidance, and hands‑on support where required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of five electrical and multi‑skilled engineers, ensuring work is planned and completed effectively.
  • Deliver and oversee electrical PPMs, fault‑finding, repairs, and small installations across site systems.
  • Assist with mechanical and HVAC‑related works where required (F‑Gas desirable).
  • Allocate and prioritise work orders, ensuring response times and service levels are met.
  • Conduct regular team briefings, toolbox talks, and performance check‑ins.
  • Provide hands‑on technical support with complex faults and system issues.
  • Liaise with site management and client representatives to ensure a proactive, solution‑focused service.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture, ensuring all work complies with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support the development and training of junior engineers and apprentices.
About You
  • Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – essential.
  • 2391 Test & Inspection – desirable.
  • F‑Gas Certification – desirable.
  • Proven experience working within an industrial or commercial maintenance environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a small engineering team.
  • Strong fault‑finding, diagnostic, and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to maintenance and problem‑solving.
