A reputable education provider in Tameside is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support Year 6 pupils with SEMH and ADHD. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm
Are you a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with SEMH and ADHD? This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key pastoral support role within a dedicated Year 6 team at a welcoming primary school in Tameside, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year in Summer 2026.
You’ll work with two Year 6 pupils requiring intensive, structured support to engage with the curriculum and regulate their emotions. Your day will include a mix of classroom-based support, 1:1 interventions, sensory circuits, and proactive behaviour management techniques.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. All applicants must have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service and two professional references covering the last two years.
