Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Wood Green

GSL Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a SEN school in Wood Green, N22 4HH. This is an ad hoc supply role.

Details:

  • Location: Wood Green, N22 4HH
  • Salary: £90 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
  • Contract Type: Ad hoc supply needs

This role involves supporting children with Autism and various SEN needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children with Autism and other SEN needs.
  • Implementing individualised support plans and learning objectives.
  • Helping students develop communication, social interaction, and independence skills.
  • Creating an inclusive learning environment alongside teachers and support staff.
  • Monitoring and recording students' progress and adjusting support strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Caring and patient attitude focused on student welfare.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
