The Governing Body of Abercynon Community Primary School requires 2 Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join a successful school for pupil ages 3–11 years old. Responsibilities
  • Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
  • Deliver structured learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), emotional wellbeing and behaviour
  • Assist with planning, preparation and assessment of learning activities
  • Promote inclusion, safeguarding and positive behaviour
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to support the school’s values and ethos
  • Be given opportunities to support their own professional development
