A collection of primary and secondary schools in Aylesbury is currently recruiting graduates who are eager to pursue a long-term career in teaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in education to gain hands‑on experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). These schools are committed to nurturing future educators by offering a structured development programme. You will work closely with experienced teachers, supporting pupils across various year groups and gaining valuable experience in classroom management, curriculum planning, and pupil engagement.

Who We're Looking For

Training & Development

You will train at two partner schools, gaining experience across a range of age groups to ensure a rich and diverse pathway into teaching. The programme is designed so that academic studies take place in short block periods, allowing you to focus on classroom practice and developing your teaching skills. Trainees receive intensive career support from experienced teachers and mentors. The academic expectations on School Direct programmes mirror those of university‑led routes. Trainees remain eligible for training bursaries or scholarships, as well as student loans and additional financial support.
