Job description

As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax, and consulting firms, RSM delivers innovative ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with ambitious goals to become the premier adviser to the middle market globally. This vision motivates us to improve daily. If you seek a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, RSM is the place for you.

Make an impact at RSM UK - Tax

Envision a career where each day presents new challenges, opportunities for growth, and possibilities. Our tax graduate programme is your gateway to a future filled with opportunities and experiences.

A career in tax involves more than advising; you'll be part of Team Tax, exploring UK and international tax laws, applying them to real-world solutions for clients, helping save money, mitigate risks, navigate reporting requirements, and create value.

You will work with a team that understands the balance of exam training and work, providing support to help you excel. You’ll have opportunities to work directly with clients, uncovering insights into their financial worlds, managing tax strategies, and expanding your expertise in areas like VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and more.

By being part of Team Tax, you'll collaborate across the business, engage directly with clients, and develop your skills and knowledge, benefiting both clients and your professional growth. As you progress, you'll handle more complex portfolios and responsibilities, including mentoring junior team members.

What we're looking for:

We value passion, personality, and originality, not just exam results. To be considered, you should have:

  • A team-oriented mindset and curiosity about business and finance
  • Determination to tackle challenges and pass your exams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfort with numbers, analytical skills, and interest in law
  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A Levels or equivalent, or 104 UCAS points across 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, plus an honours degree
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and offices

Please note, we do not accept applications with General Studies, AS levels, or EPQ. The start date for this role is 22 September 2026, which is mandatory due to training requirements.

What we can offer you:

Joining Team Tax means on-the-job learning, structured training, and working with an impressive client list. Our culture nurtures individuality and supports your potential.

  • Study towards ACA, ATT, ADIT, and/or CTA qualifications
  • Mentorship and a culture focused on your growth
  • Internal development courses for professional and personal skills
  • Tailored lifestyle, health, and wellbeing benefits

For more about career pathways, visit our employability hub. Due to policy changes in April 2024, applications are only accepted from individuals with the right to work in the UK. We consider only one application per cycle, and multiple applications are not accepted.

At RSM, we promote diversity and inclusion, aiming for a culture where everyone can bring their true self to work, understanding our clients better through diverse teams.
