Job summary

A local authority in Falkirk is seeking qualified Swimming Teachers to deliver swimming lessons across various age groups. Job description
Overview

We are looking for: candidates who currently hold or are working towards achieving SSTQ / UKCC L1/L2 qualified Swimming Teachers

Qualifications
  • Currently hold or working towards SSTQ / UKCC L1/L2 qualified Swimming Teacher
  • Experience teaching young people/specific target groups and preparing lesson plans including: Early Years 6 months to 3 years; Preschool 3 to 5 years; ASN; Adult swim lesson; Water Polo
Desirable qualities
  • Passionate about swimming, keen to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond appropriately and professionally
  • Team player
  • Motivated to make a difference in swimming
Role details

Your main duties will include the preparation and delivery of The Scottish Swimming National Framework swimming lessons to all ages and abilities at various locations within the Falkirk area. You will work on an as and when required basis. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
