Overview

We’re representing a leading organisation in the Facilities Management sector that is driving an ambitious Net Zero agenda. They’re seeking a Decarbonisation Manager to accelerate carbon reduction across their supply chain and directly influence how thousands of services operate sustainably.

In this role, you’ll work closely with suppliers to set carbon reduction targets, improve emissions reporting, and deliver innovative solutions that will leave a lasting impact. You’ll be at the centre of embedding sustainability into procurement, helping to shape bold strategies and turn them into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead real carbon reduction: Drive Scope 3 emissions reductions by creating supplier action plans that directly enable the organisation to hit its Net Zero targets.
• Influence real change: Partner with suppliers to embed sustainability into their strategies, helping them set targets and transform how they operate.
• Shape smarter procurement: Integrate decarbonisation requirements into procurement decisions, ensuring every new partnership moves the organisation closer to Net Zero.
• Strengthen reporting & transparency: Help suppliers improve GHG reporting and CDP scoring, ensuring data drives meaningful action.
• Innovate for impact: Deliver creative solutions - from circularity initiatives to cutting single-use packaging - and champion new ways to reduce environmental impact at scale.

Key Requirements

• Proven sustainability expertise: Experience in carbon management or environmental compliance, with exposure to Scope 3 emissions and supply chain transformation.
• Supplier engagement skills: Confident in influencing suppliers to adopt ambitious sustainability goals and driving measurable behavioural change.
• Technical knowledge with purpose: Familiarity with frameworks like CDP enabling you to turn data into actionable outcomes.
• Solutions-driven mindset: A natural problem-solver who thrives on creating practical decarbonisation strategies that deliver results.
