A supportive care service provider in Newark on Trent is seeking Support Workers to join their team. You will provide assistance to individuals with learning disabilities and related needs, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting independence. We deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs. We are recruiting Support Workers to join the team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
Roles are paid at an hourly rate of £12.21 – equating to an annual salary of £26,652.72 based on a 42 hour working week. The annual salary shown is a per‑annum equivalent for illustration purposes only. NLW applies and will be pro‑rated based on hours worked – this is a full‑time contracted position. We are flexible regarding working hours/shifts, allowing you to work around commitments you may already have. Successful candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing employment.
When you first join, you will be paid for completing a comprehensive Induction Programme involving face‑to‑face training, e‑learning and shadowing experienced members of your team.
For those new to care, we will support you to complete your Care Certificate and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a relevant qualification, partnering with our provider company Paragon Training.
