A local government organization in Halifax seeks an enthusiastic team member for the Sundry Income Team. Responsible for outstanding customer service, managing debt recovery, and liaising with various departments, the ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Full training will be provided in a supportive environment.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Sundry Income Team, within the Finance Service, to provide outstanding customer service to customers who owe sundry debt to the Council. The role involves liaising with clients and stakeholders to discuss outstanding debts, setting up payment plans, and proactively recovering overdue payments. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, communicating with clients effectively, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. The role is varied as you will be dealing with a wide variety of debt types and liaising with a large range of departments across the Council. We are a friendly and supportive team, and you will receive full training and support and be encouraged to share your ideas for continuous improvement.
