Overview

This is a unique opportunity to apply your submarine experience in a role that blends technical expertise with meaningful impact. Working in partnership with a respected engineering consultancy, you'll help deliver safety solutions that support the UK submarine community and contribute to a safer, more sustainable future.

Offices are located in Bath, Bristol, Fareham, Glasgow, Plymouth, Weymouth, London and Teddington, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel to customer sites or meetings will be required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical safety support and subject matter advice across a range of submarine and underwater systems projects.
  • Draw on operational or maintenance experience within Royal Navy submarines to help ensure compliance with UK legislation, regulations and safety standards.
  • Receive tailored learning and development to grow your expertise and progress professionally.
What you'll bring / Qualifications
  • Ideal for an ex-Submariner looking to transition into safety engineering.
  • You may already be familiar with nuclear safety management, hazard log development, HAZID facilitation or MOD safety frameworks; what matters most is your ability to learn, adapt and communicate effectively.
  • Professional registration (IEng or CEng) is valued and support is available to help you achieve it.
