A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Senior Stress Engineer in Farnborough. The engineer will be involved in structural analysis, conducting tests, and producing documentation for aircraft modifications. Candidates should have a strong background in aerospace engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and familiarity with Finite Element Analysis tools. This role offers an hourly rate of £60 and operates inside IR35 regulations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Stress and Structural Analysis Engineer to work as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers to develop modifications and trials installations to the QinetiQ fleet of aircraft (both fixed wing and rotorcraft) and customer's aircraft to defined customer requirements. The role will require Finite Element Analysis, hand calculation and compilation of reports, as well as on aircraft surveys and tests to Stress Office and AEC processes to certify the designs to Regulatory Specifications. The role is for an experienced senior engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience working on aerospace products and/or aircraft modifications. Candidates with experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) for a CAA / EASA 21J and/or MAA DAOS organisation is highly desirable. Additional project work may include activities in other domains, including review of structures documents and weapons R&D.
