Strategic Engagement Executive UK&I
Location: Greater London Area

The Role
The Strategic Engagement Executive role will drive and quarterback complex mega deals (50M+) within the Strategic Sales practice, ensuring successful positioning of Cognizant’s multi tower solutions while creating value for clients through effective deal structuring and execution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and quarterback complex mega deals (50M+) involving multiple solution towers, from initial engagement through deal closure
  • Articulate compelling win themes and value propositions to position Cognizant favorably with strategic clients
  • Drive deal structuring, including pricing models and solution architecture, ensuring alignment with both client needs and Cognizant capabilities
  • Manage multiple concurrent deal pursuits through effective scheduling and stakeholder coordination
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Document and share best practices and lessons learned from deal experiences
  • Create and maintain deal governance frameworks to ensure successful execution
  • Drive innovation in deal structuring and solution development
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic sales or complex deal management
  • MBA or equivalent business degree preferred
  • Demonstrated success in closing multiple 50M+ USD deals
  • Experience in multi-tower solution sales
  • Strong background in IT services industry
  • Proven track record in leading and closing mega deals (50M+ USD)
  • Strong understanding of complex pricing models and solution architectures
  • Excellence in stakeholder management and executive communication
  • Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
  • Deep knowledge of IT services industry and digital transformation
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills
  • Ability to work effectively in matrix organization
Work Authorization
