Job summary

A global consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Strategic Client Relationship Manager to nurture and grow important client relationships. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional client value, and identifying opportunities for strategic growth. Responsibilities include managing key accounts, leading client discussions, and collaborating closely with various internal teams to deliver excellent service and achieve commercial outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills and experience in account management.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deepen strategic relationships across a portfolio of key accounts.
  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders.
  • Build long-term account strategies to support client missions and PGI growth objectives.
  • Lead client reviews, roadmap discussions and forward planning sessions.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support the development of well-costed proposals aligned to client needs and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and contribute to quarterly and annual planning.
  • Understand and communicate PGI’s full portfolio and USPs.
  • Champion the relationship between Sales and Delivery.
  • Work closely with project teams to manage client expectations.
  • Ensure internal governance, processes and documentation are followed consistently.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to support campaigns relevant to your accounts.
  • Maintain high standards of CRM hygiene.
  • Support risk identification and mitigation across your accounts.
  • Provide clear reporting on account performance and client sentiment.
  • Ensure all engagements meet PGI’s quality and compliance standards.
  • Champion PGI’s core values.

What you’ll be doing:

Due to this we are seeking an experienced Strategic Client Relationship Manager who’ll be responsible for nurturing, growing and protecting PGI’s most important client relationships. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, ensuring our clients receive exceptional value while identifying opportunities for strategic growth across PGI’s full portfolio.

You will work closely with Delivery, Resourcing, Marketing, Finance and the wider Sales function to ensure high‑quality service, accurate forecasting and strong commercial outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a trusted partner to senior client stakeholders, advising on digital resilience and PGI’s specialist capabilities.
  • Build long‑term account strategies to support client missions and PGI growth objectives.
  • Lead client reviews, roadmap discussions and forward planning sessions.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support the development of well‑costed proposals aligned to client needs and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate revenue forecasting and contribute to quarterly and annual planning.
  • Understand and communicate PGI’s full portfolio and USPs to maximise client value.
  • Champion the relationship between Sales and Delivery to ensure seamless service and shared understanding.

  • Provide clear reporting on account performance, upcoming opportunities and client sentiment.
  • Ensure all engagements meet PGI’s quality and compliance standards.
  • Champion PGI’s core values and contribute to a supportive, high‑performance culture.
  • Share insight, market intel and best practice across the team.
  • Represent your accounts in internal planning and management meetings.
