They provide on-site welding, fabrication and technical support, and use industry-standard modelling software. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Steel Detailer to join their team.

Steel Detailer - Details

Steel Detailer - Responsibilities

• Interpret architects'/engineers' drawings and specifications
• Produce 3D models and detailed drawings using Advance Steel/Tekla
• Prepare GA, installation and fabrication drawings
• Generate manufacturing and purchase lists
• Support material ordering
• Liaise with architects, engineers, clients and internal teams
• Conduct site surveys as needed
• Manage RFIs and site queries
• Assist workshop with drawing-related questions
• Maintain drawing registers and issue documentation

Qualifications

• 3 years' UK structural steel experience
• Advance Steel detailing experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
