Responsibilities

• Servicing, Maintenance and remedials of HIUs
• Exchange of central heating system components
• Power flushing of heating systems
• Close down reactive completed works and report
• Undertake plumbing tasks to installations
• Increase pressure in pipe systems and test for leaks
• General plumbing services including Boilers and Legionella Control
• Communicating with clients about work progress
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed

HIU Engineer / Plumber – FM Service Provider – Finsbury Park, North London – £45,000

Are you a Mechanical / HIU Engineer / Plumber looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work for a leading Facilities Maintenance provider? CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Static Mechanical / HIU engineer / Plumber to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a High-end residential contract based in Finsbury Park. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a maintenance Plumber currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Responsibilities

• HIU Servicing, Maintenance and remedials
• Exchange of domestic central heating system components including radiators, cylinders, tanks, and system controls
• Power flushing of central heating systems
• Close down the reactive completed works as per the site requirement and report issues back to the contract support desk
• Undertake plumbing tasks to domestic and commercial installations including pressure systems, FCUs, pipe work, radiators, valves, pumps and motors
• Increase pressure in pipe systems and observe connected pressure gauge systems to test for leaks
• Hot & cold water systems, Calorifiers, Boilers, Legionella Control, general Plumbing services
• Cold water storage tanks
• Strong knowledge and experience in working with HIU
• Communicating with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on work progress, and address any concerns or questions they may have
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, installations, and compliance documentation

Hours, Package & Benefits

• Basic Salary of up to £45,000
• No Call out
• Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00
• 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
