Staff Nurse / Operating Department Practitioner (STU Dec 25)

We are looking to recruit a full‑time skilled Theatre Practitioner for the Treatment Centre at Withington Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job

We are a small, friendly team who work well together to deliver excellent patient care. We undertake plastics trauma & skin surgery and day‑case urology procedures under local anaesthetic. All staff rotate within the unit and work in all areas – admission and discharge lounges, theatre and recovery.

The Treatment Centre is a clinical placement area for student nurses, so we are keen to recruit staff with a teaching and assessing qualification who will act as practice assessor/supervisor.

You must be flexible and able to work between the hours 07:30–19:00. The unit is currently open Monday‑Friday and we open on an ad‑hoc basis when required on weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse / ODP
