A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse to join their dynamic immunisation team in Wrexham and Flintshire. The role involves visiting schools and community settings to deliver vaccinations, and the ability to speak Welsh is desirable. Candidates must have current NMC registration. The position offers a salary range of £31,516 to £38,364 per annum pro rata.

This exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a dynamic and motivated immunisation team. The post holder will have professional responsibility to work within the Wrexham and Flintshire Childrens Immunisation Team, with the base being Saltney Health Clinic. This team offers and delivers the immunisation programme to school aged children in various community settings. This position is for a Band 5 community staff nurse and therefore candidates must hold current NMC registration.
To work as a team member to visit schools and other community settings to deliver immunisations to school aged children. This post will include travelling between sites across Wrexham and Flintshire. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role. The team deliver the nasal flu programme to all school aged children. They also offer all the high school vaccinations to include HPV, DTP, Men ACWY and MMR.
