Job description

Organisation UK & Ireland 2028 Limited Salary Competitive Location Wembley Stadium, London Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 25 January 2026

Contract: Fixed-term | April – Summer 2028

About UK & Ireland 2028 Limited

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for planning and delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in close partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and communities to ensure the tournament is delivered to world‑class standards.

About UEFA EURO 2028

The UEFA European Championship is one of the world’s biggest sporting events. In 2028, it will take place across the UK & Ireland, bringing significant operational scale and requiring close coordination between host cities, stadiums, government partners and UEFA.

The Role

As Stadium Liaison Coordinator, you will support the coordination and day‑to‑day liaison between UK & Ireland 2028 Limited, UEFA, our host stadium partners and stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll support the effective operation of the Stadium Liaison team by:

  • Acting as a central point of coordination for stadium‑related activity.
  • Organising meetings, working visits and site activity, including travel, accommodation, agendas and follow‑up actions.
  • Supporting the preparation of briefings, presentations and papers.
  • Maintaining accurate records, trackers and documentation.
  • Supporting tournament projects and milestone events as planning progresses.
  • Managing financial administration such as invoices, costs and budget tracking.
  • Providing flexible support as priorities evolve within a live delivery environment.
What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone organised, reliable and collaborative — someone who enjoys supporting complex programmes and enabling others to deliver effectively.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in a coordination, administrative or project support role.
  • The ability to manage information accurately and follow up actions reliably.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills focused on supporting understanding.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience supporting financial or administrative processes.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a structured way.
  • Experience of working with venues, major events or large‑scale programmes is helpful but not essential. Transferable experience from other sectors is welcome.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the delivery of a major international tournament and build experience that is genuinely difficult to replicate. You’ll gain exposure to large‑scale event planning, work closely with major venues and partners, and develop coordination skills that are highly transferable.

Please see the attached role profile for full details.

Values & Behaviours
  • Embrace the Opportunity – Seeks out opportunities to improve work practices. Demonstrates flexibility and a can‑do attitude.
  • Achieve Excellence – Delivers tasks on time and to a high standard. Acts on feedback to improve work and results.
  • Thrive Together – Collaborates across teams and welcomes diverse input. Communicates clearly and respectfully.
Why apply?

We offer a competitive salary (plus benefits of 25 days holiday, contributory pension, Private Medical Insurance etc), which coupled with the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest sporting events to ever take place across UK & Ireland we think makes for an exciting place to be!

Where is the role based?

Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however, depending on your role, you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations.

Because we are an event delivery organisation, time together in person is essential for effective planning and collaboration.

In 2026, most colleagues work at least three days a week from Wembley. In 2027, this will increase to 3–4 days a week as operations intensify. In 2028, during tournament delivery, full‑time onsite working will be required.

Everyone is welcome

We’re hiring for excellence through inclusion. We’re building a skilled, values‑led workforce that reflects the diversity of the UK and Ireland. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and identities — and we don’t expect everyone to have followed a traditional path to get here.

We’re happy to accommodate any requests for reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process. Please email any requests to email@example.com. We’ll work with you to ensure you can perform at your best.

All employees will be subject to a DBS check appropriate to the nature of the role and in line with our commitment to providing a safe and inclusive working environment.
