Overview

Are you a dedicated Study Skills Mentor passionate about helping students achieve their academic potential?

Randstad Student Support is looking for experienced one-on-one Study Skills Support Workers to assist students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) in St. Andrews. Join us in making a difference in their educational journeys!

Starting as soon as possible, this hybrid role requires flexibility for both in-person and online sessions, tailored to student preferences.

Essential Criteria

• Need to have teaching or tutoring experience,
• (or)
• Any in-depth knowledge of learning difficulties that students may have

Responsibilities

As a Specialist Study Skills Support Worker, you\'ll provide personalized learning support, including:

• Developing individual learning plans to foster independence
• Building on strengths and effective learning strategies
• Enhancing organization and time management skills
• Creating action plans to stay on track
• Improving research and comprehension skills
• Experience working with students with Autism would be a significant advantage

It\'s essential to address student needs on a case-by-case basis while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Share relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best service for your students.
