Location: Stoke North Children’s Centre

Grade: Level 10

Salary: £39,152 - £41,771

Hours: 37 – Full Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Registered Social Worker to join the North Community Wellbeing Team within Stoke-on-Trent Adult Social Care and All Age Commissioning, recently rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In this role, you will manage a varied caseload, working under key legislation such as the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and other relevant legislation & guidance underpinning adult social care.

We take a relationship-based, strengths-focused approach, working collaboratively with adults, carers, and partner agencies to deliver meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Care Act Assessments, reviews, and support planning
  • Undertaking Safeguarding Enquiries and Mental Capacity Assessments
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Producing high-quality reports and demonstrating strong communication skills
