What You Will Do
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments of children and families to inform Child and Family Assessments.
  • Co-produce Child in Need and Child Protection Plans with families and partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Supporting Families Services and other community partners.
  • Use a restorative approach to empower families and build long-term solutions alongside colleagues in the Long-Term teams.
  • Lead multi-agency safeguarding efforts, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Mentor NQSWs and Social Work students, sharing your experience to support the next generation of practitioners.
  • Play an active role in practice development and service improvement initiatives.
