Contract Social Media Specialist

Remote with occasional travel (UK)

3-month contract (initially)

Outside IR35 | Up to £230 per day

We’re working with a key client who are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join on an initial 3-month contract. You’ll be the go-to person for driving socially-led creative campaigns, developing strategies, and delivering content that truly engages audiences.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Developing conceptual ideas based on the latest trends and platforms
  • Building, managing, and executing social media strategies through research, benchmarking, and audience insight
  • Owning day-to-day partner strategies: generating, editing, publishing, and sharing content to build engagement
  • Capturing, analysing, and reporting on key data and metrics to improve performance
  • Presenting social strategies to partners and supporting creative/digital teams across the agency
  • Managing and creating content with the goal of increasing engagement and ROI
  • (Bonus) Hands-on with PPC and GDN management/deployment
What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years’ experience in an agency environment, delivering social campaigns end-to-end
  • Solid understanding of all major platforms and how to tailor content for each
  • Proven track record of social media marketing, audience research, and data-driven analysis
  • Knowledge of both organic activations (paid is a plus)
  • Strong experience using social analytics tools
  • Excellent written, editorial, and presentation skills
  • Added knowledge of CRO, SEO, and web design (advantageous)
  • A bold, creative thinker who loves pushing boundaries with socially-driven ideas
